Description: For sale, a beautiful antique drug store Tiffin Dakota Glass clear glass square shaped Apothecary jar with it's original lid or may have been used in a country store counter top display clear glass jar with it's original lid. You can see the lid is grounded as is also the inside of the jar where the lid sits in place. Typical of Tiffin Dakota Glass. It is not marked, it stands 12.5" tall x square shaped, 5" square shaped. It also has the pontil or some call them punt mark on the bottom of the clear glass. The lid and jar are great chip and crack free condition. Great country style form, these were used on the drug store shelves or country store counters to sell their goods from. Great in a country farm house decor or beach cottage, also great in a kitchen or very handy in a pantry to store whatever you like. It is in great used No chips or Cracks condition. I have it filled with many different seashells I have collected over the years. They are included with the glass jar, if you do not want them, just let me know. It is very heavy solid thick glass container. I have slowly been selling my antique white ironstone collection off, I collected over 40 ironstone cake stands over the years and so many other pieces.
