Description: For auction is an antique tiger maple rolling pin made from one solid piece of wood. Overall, it is 18" long and the roll is 10" long. There is a split pretty much from end to end of the roll but this does not affect the integrity of the piece. It accents how much some baker treasured this piece that it was not thrown away. The piece is approximately 2 1/4" in diameter. The tiger figuring in the maple would pop even more if the piece if mineral oil was applied.
