Description: A nice example of a toleware tea canister converted to a table lamp, hand painted with “29” in gold and red on a black background, on an associated wrought iron scrollwork stand. The canister probably dates to the late 19th or early 20th century, converted later in the 20th century to a lamp. Very good working condition, with great patina, minor surface wear and imperfections on the canister and shade. Dimensions: 40 ½” H x 20” diameter shade.
