Antique Vintage Wood Shaft Never Rust Gem Putter

Description: This item is an antique vintage right-handed 34" wood shaft putter. A heel shafted blade with wide sole and beveled toe and heel in the Gem style. Marked Corinthian Trademark and Hawkins Never Rust on the back. Made in the UK of a rustless metal alloy. The head is in good clean condition. Yes, it has the expected play nicks and dings but is not damaged. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. The shaft is straight, I see no cracks and it has some play at the hosel. Always re-set head prior to play. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in fair vintage condition. Great for display and a nice C 5 swingweight for play. If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this hickory shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage (already done on this club). These hickory shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee hickory shafts against breakage when put into play.
