Description: This 1920s-1930s gorgeous and one of a kind art Deco era necklace is made from carved, laced blue agate or chalcedony beads and Peking glass beads and features a gorgeous carved blue agate or chalcedony pendant in the Chinese Symbol of Longevity (Shou). Blue agate and chalcedony is a rare occurrence in a piece this old. I believe the pendant floral casing is made of brass. This is a really interesting piece. It’s reminiscent of some of the Neiger Brothers art deco era jewelry so it could be Czech in origin. In great vintage condition, although there is a cosmetic scratch to the pendant which can be observed at certain angles; I believe this could be fixed if needed. Clasp is a spring lock, see all photos. Necklace is 24” long and the pendant is about 2” across.
