Description: Antique Vintage Dr Schall Electrotherapy Machine Quack Medical Magnificent Oak Case. I could not find a manufacturer but I made a Google search and it shows almost the exact same set by a maker named Doctor Schall. The oak vase box measures 5 3/8" x 6 7/8" and 8 1/4" high closed; it weighs 6 pounds 2 ounces. The solid oak hinged box is absolutely magnificent with ornate metal trim and a unique high quality latch. Untested, appears fine, the oak box is solid & sturdy with a nice aged patina - see detailed photos. Electrotherapy has a history of quackery, but it's not always clear-cut.
