Description: Antique Vintage H. G & Sons (Henry Griffiths & Sons)~1900s 9K Yellow Gold Machine Engine Turned Fronts and Sterling Silver Backed Double-sided Cufflinks. From a gentleman in Birmingham, England where the original factory was. I read that most residents of the town had jewelry from there, which would account for why the export stamps are not on these. They were closely held. On the reverse of each cuff link is clearly stamped H. G & S at the top, and on the bottom is stamped 9 Ct Gold & Silver. They are shaped as long hexagons, measure 3/4" long by 1/2" wide (18 mm by 8 mm), and connected by a silver chain link of 5 rings. Comes in original antique box.
