Description: Antique W&H Winterhalder Hofmeier Bracket Mantel Clock Retailed By Robert Jones & Sons Liverpool. This beautiful clock has a Mahogany case which is arched to the top with the front and side edges having a lovely mounding. The bottom on the case then has another beautiful moulding to the sides and edges as well and four, stunning, shaped brass feet. The dial is silvered and set out in roman numerals. The dial is then finished with two nice shaped fingers as well as a domed and bevelled glass held in place by a hinged brass bezel. There is a small button to the side of the case to allow the front door to be opened and the clock to be wound. The movement is stamped “W.&.H Sch 4”. The movement is ticking away and comes complete with its pendulum and a key. It measures approximately: - 8” / 20cm Tall. - 6.5” / 16.5cm Wide. - 5” / 13cm Deep. Please note there are some marks to the case such as scratches and some light damage to the polish.
