Description: Lovely antique Davenport desk. It features a top that slides forward a bit if desired and side cabinet that opens to reveal drawers. It has lovely details on the front leg posts. This is very old and consequently there is wear/aging including some wear and fading to the leather on top, some splits in the panels,cracks/crackling on the drawer veneer, a bit of trim off bottom edge on one side, etc. It has had a few repairs over the years including where the decorative rail that would have been on top has been removed and holes filled and sort of stained over. The top lock is non working though the side cabinet lock works and it does have the key. Measures approx. 21.25" wide, 25.5" deep and 33.25" tall at the back.
