Description: Beautifully Hand Crafted by a Skilled ArtisanMIDDLE EASTERN COPPER EWER(Most likely Turkish Ottoman) Originally had silver or tin overlay, most of which has worn away through age and use.Lid finial appears to be brass. Stands 14 1/2" from base to finial.Belly diameter is approx. 8".Base diameter is 5 1/2"Lip diameter is 2 1/8". Body and base have several small/shallow dents. Belly has a possible small repair at base of handle.Top of handle appears to have been reattached. Tiny sharp edge on lid hinge rivet. Verdigris on handle and lid. A marvelous and rare find!
