Description: Antirrhinum majus var. maximum is an evergreen herbaceous annual or perennial if living in zones 7-11. They have been used for cut flowers and ornamental plants since the 15th century. It can grow to around 3 feet tall with broad leaves arranged in a spiral. The flowers are in bloom from mid to late summer with many colors. The two lips are usually a different color from the flower.
