Description: For sale is an original large antique tintype portrait of a well-dressed man wearing a suit. It has been beautifully hand-painted and is housed in its original cardboard frame. The tintype measures 6 1/2 by 8 1/2 inches and is in very good condition, with several tiny nicks on the man’s face. The frame is 10 by 12 inches and is in fair condition (see photos). This tintype was among a collection of ephemera that came from an estate sale near Owensboro, Kentucky. The man is not identified. I believe this item dates to the late 1800s.
