Description: Hardcover book with illustrated blue cloth boards, no dust jacket present, covers and spine face have white/gold embossed lettering and decoration, covers have light surface and extremity wear, cover corners are lightly worn and bumped, binding is complete and solid, book is an ex-library copy so there’s a list of issues that will be discussed in the next sentences, interior is mostly clean, all pages present, slight interior odor though there’s no evidence of any moisture damage. Issues with the book being an ex-library copy include white library code letters/numbers handwritten on the spine face, library bookplate affixed to the rear of the front free end page, half-title page has several sections of clipped dust jacket affixed to the page surface, title page has an embossed library name near the top center of the page, reverse side of the page has blue ink library code written on the surface, dedication page has some light pencil marks along edge of the page by the gutter, rear paste down end page has the library card holder affixed to the surface. Book’s subtitled: “ The Voyage of the Triton.” In spite of some issues, including those that are included because the book is an ex-library copy, the book is clean and solidly bound, full of entertaining historical facts and a great story. Book’s still suitable for collecting and/or gifting.
