It is designed to fit motors with either 25mm or 30mm mounting holes and accommodates a wide range of gearing configurations. This motor mount is capable of housing large motors, including the Castle 2028 1700kv and TP5860. For 8mm shafts, a length of 30mm is recommended. The longer shaft may be necessary to mount a pinion gear in reverse, which keeps the gear closer to the motor mount, thereby reducing pressure on the motor bearings.
