This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE PAIR of EARRINGS that was made in the ART DECO style during the 1920s from PLATINUM (top) & 18K GOLD. The earrings are set with 2 OLD MINE CUT DIAMONDS and 12 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS that weigh approx. .19 ctw. A couple of the diamonds have chips, but this is not visible to the naked eye. The earrings are bezel-set with 6 synthetic RUBIES that are DIAMOND SHAPED weighing approx. .30 ctw. - synthetic colored stones were typical for the period. The earrings measure 1-3/8” long, including the wire, by 7/16” at the widest point. The have a little bit of movement because each earring is made with two components. The total weight is 3.7 grams.
