The name of the piece is Night Pier II, so I suppose there is a Night Pier I out there somewhere. This watercolor is in very good condition, and since it was created in 1961 it is over fifty years old. Great art is timeless, and this is one of those timeless pieces that stirs contemplation and draws the eye even after so many years. I'm one of those people that has an aversion to the new trend of wholesale corporate art, wherein the canvas print I have up on my wall is likely shared by a million other individuals. I like to know I have something unique. I like to know I have something that is one of a kind, and as such I've made it my life's mission to find great art, offer it to my customers at affordable prices, and do my small part to end the cycle of seeing the same print hanging on someone's wall that I saw in the men's restroom at my local chain restaurant.
