Description: ***********************Location GBB****************** Listing is for a Arthur Strasser (French 1854-1927) grouping sculpture of Roman Emperor Mark Antony in a chariot pulled by lions. The original 1898 bronze being in Vienna, Austria. Interior lip on bottom has a small chip, shown in photos, see pointer in 19th photo. Marked "Imperial Amphora Turn" with the eagle and crown mark, "Amphora" and "Austria", model number "4899" and "25" below that. Base measures approximately 13" by 5 1/2", and 2" tall. Base has bulging along the sides, factory flaw. Overall length is about 14" with including the lion's protruding head, highest point is 8 7/8" to top of Antony's head, with the 2" base included. Has a bronze toned matte finish, does have a few scratches and rubs. Bottom has some glue residue from where felt was attached. No breaks or repairs seen, other than the chip pointed out on the interior bottom lip. Weighs under 6 pounds, unpacked. See more details in photos shown.
