Description: WYSIWYG.......What You See Is What You Get, one VERY RARE Artie Shaw Mariquita Linda / Frenesi 78, PLAY GRADED & Fully Tested. Warning: THIS RECORD IS PARTIALLY CRACKED. Being a shellac 78, it still playable. The crack starts at the outer edge at 3:00 9see pic 5). It was play tested from start to finish (on a cheap, manual, unbranded record player I got for twenty bucks new off the internet), from beginning to end. It sounds very good with no skips or jumps.It plays Smooth, Loud, & Clear with light noise (clicks/pops over crack).Were it not for the crack I would grade it at VG+. In the name of CYA, I must say that this record is better for display than playing. A generic, paper dust sleeve will also be included. My best guess (see grading info below) is Jacket=na Sleeve=na (generic paper) Record PLAY GRADE=VG+, but physical grade=POOR(due to crack). This is an Indianapolis pressing. I now listen to every record I sell from beginning to end and grade on how it sounds. After all, the way it sounds is far more important than the way it looks. A record can look NM or VG+ , but skip or otherwise sound terrible. Conversely, they can look terrible, but sound great, with little to no noise. It doesn't matter how good a visual grader you are, it is sometimes just impossible to tell without playing it all the way through. VISUAL GRADING is nothing more than a guess!
