Description: For sale is a vintage "Hodgson's Estimator & Contractor's Guide for Pricing Builder's Work" book, copyright 1904, published by Frederick J. Drake & Co. Measures 8" tall and 5.25" wide. Back section has 50 house/building floorplans with outside illustrations of the home fronts, and estimated building cost from 1904. Very interesting to look through and see the vast pricing difference to the current era. This book is vintage and fairly fragile. Cover has quite a bit of wear, spine cover is missing, and front/back covers are only loosely attached to the pages. Thread binding is visible in-between pages. The pages have typical discoloration from age but otherwise look decent. Cover leaves brown dust when set down or rubbed against, likely the brown corner edges are starting to disintegrate (see last photo).
