This is the rare version of this paint scheme with the blue and silver lettering. This is the earliest version of the Athearn 40' boxcar with the separate door guides on the bottom, and the screw on coupler covers. This car was released by Athearn as item number 209 in August of 1957, and it is now out of production. Car number is renumbered 74305 and build date is 6-56 and car has end numbers. Car is in like new condition with no broken steps and has Athearn sprung metal Bettendorf trucks and Kadee knuckle couplers. Pictures show both sides of the car.
