I was told that this piece was used to bet/wage/gamble for beers in a Czech pub. Function/Use: Used for alcoholic drink betting. Typically, these toys were shaken & then slammed onto the surface of a wooden bar to bet on who buys the next round of beers/shots. Structure/Composition: Made of VERY thick Czech-Bohemian crystal. The top & bottom view ports have a flat smooth surface; but the sides are covered with multiple ridges to provide a good grip. Usage/Wear-and-Tear: In excellent condition. No major damage.
