Description: This is a wonderful oval pendant in dark matte silvertone metal with an oval bead in the center. Signed "Audrey Schenk 90" on the back. She is a famous designer of artisanal pieces in New Mexico, whose work was sold in many boutiques and department stores during the eighties. The bead measures 1" x .75". It is not amethyst, it is just a bead, but it is translucent and has delicate white veining running through it. The oval measures 2" x 1.5". The chain is attached in two places, and therefore the pendant cannot be removed from the chain. Wearable length is 21.5"; I am counting the length of the pendant between two strands of the chain in that because that is the real end to end length. Chain is 1/8" wide and has a lobster claw clasp. Some darkness and small marks in the metal from age and use. Beautiful designer piece with great patina. Overall in very good pre-owned condition, flaws as noted.
