Description: For sale is a cup and saucer made by Augarten during the original period in the early 20th century . The cup is hand painted with a superb scene depicting a memorial ( Erzherzog Karl Denkmal ) in the city of Vienna and it has a nice gold trim to the inside top rim. The saucer has the same gold trim. These original pieces are hard to find and highly collectible! The cup is 1.75 inches tall and 1.875 inches in diameter. The saucer is 0.75 inches tall and just under 4.25 inches in diameter. The set is in perfect condition. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, a black F.54 and D.5199 as well as the words Augarten Austria in red in a rectangular box.
