Description: The French Glass Artist Auguste Legras produced this Amethyst Optic Glass Rose Bowl about 1900. It is a Beautiful piece in excellent condition. I have not found this exact design but very similar ones. The background of the piece appears to be a Cottage or Home. The Heavily Enameled Maid appears to be pouring Ale into a cup. The Gild paint is in great condition, even around the Ruffled Rim. There are a few marks on the bottom, but not the actual Legras Signature. Approximately 4.5" tall.
