Description: Authentic Vintage Signed SHAKER Fumed OAK Wood Dual Compartment Caddy w/ Handle - This is a branded signed carrier made by the Shakers in the early 20th century. - Oak bentwood with a 3 finger link secured by brass nails. - Originating from Ohio and acquired by my grandmother who was born and raised in Akron. My grandmother collected antiques & often traded or bought Amish & Shaker made items. The Shaker settlements in Ohio are no longer there with only 1 remaining in New England. - This handmade collectable is definitely rare & a piece of United States cultural history. - As for condition, its in nearly perfect condition and only kept showcased in my grandmothers curio cabinets, never handled or actually used.
