The tree in the photo has been owned by us for 10+ years and our family consumes the fruit regularly, but we tend have too many fruits for just us to eat, so we have decided to try our hands at selling the seeds so that you all may enjoy the benefits of star fruits as well. This is a FLORIDA GROWN tree that produces around 500-600 lbs of fruit per harvest(with 2 harvests per year). These seeds are harvested and dried outside NOT IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT for 2 days to prevent mold from forming. There is never a guarantee that all seeds will germinate or yield anything. Especially as they aren't being handled by a professional. Please keep that in mind. These seeds are naturally a bit tough to grow for a beginner, but with proper care you should see progress in its growth. ZONES 10 TO 11 CAN GROW STAR FRUITS, but can ALSO CAN BE GROWN IN ZONE 9 WITH PROTECTION FROM FROST. Older trees are more tolerant of frost, but growth stops at 55 to 60 degrees and PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO TEMPERATURES BELOW FREEZING COULD KILL THE TREE. All photos are taken by us.
