Description: For your consideration, an Ayer's Cherry Pectoral patent medicine bottle from Lowell, Mass. It was blown in aqua glass batch into a two-part private mold with four recessed panels and finished with a hand-applied mineral lip in the 1870's era. This was recovered in a Philadelphia privy excavation in the last year. It is in good dug condition with no damage. It shows some interior haze and moderate overall iridescent patina. It would clean up well. It measures: 7 3/8" x 2 1/4" x 1 5/8"+.
