It is an example of the dark blue crystals found in Bisbee's underground mines in its early days. The specimen features undamaged azurite crystal groups in a vug that is lined with black botryoidal goethite. It’s a great old collection piece from historic Bisbee, ‘Queen of the Copper Camps’. Bisbee mines have been closed for almost 50 years (1975). A previous label from Williams Minerals will accompany the specimen to its new owner.
