Note from seller: I searched on how to re-record a build-a-bear and got this answer: The newer chips are re-recordable as many times as you want. If you don't know how to open and close your bear properly you can take it in store, but it's a super simple ladder stitch, although if you have a bear that's more complicated than the traditional teddy bear shape it can be more difficult to find the seam. Once the sound is out, there's a switch that has a REC setting and a PLAY setting. The switch should be on the play setting, and to re-record you push it to the rec setting and hold down the button, re-recording your phrase, and then release, or listen for the beeps when it cuts out. To hear the recording, slide the switch back into play and it will play what you just recorded. I will say that I was told they hold up to 15 seconds of audio but it feels more like 10, not sure if they were wrong in the store or what. Yeah you can totally re-record the audio and do it yourself, but if you don't feel confident the people in store can also help you.
