Item: Bachmann Texas Chugger 2-10-4 Santa Fe Steam Locomotive & Tender 5012 HOCondition: Item is in Excellent Condition. Original box included. With realistic smoke and electronic Chug-chug sound. Includes instructions. Box is missing end flaps. Locomotive has been tested, following are the results: I put it on our test track, ran great right out of the gate, smoking, lighted and chugging. About half way around the track it started spinning, one rear drive wheel and come out of the housing. I snapped it back in place, felt a click as it joined with the opposite wheel. I was unable to separate it by hand, back to the test track. Second go around, it's a solid runner. Wheel set stayed together, no separation. Perhaps a flaw during initial assembly and wheels weren't set properly. Only issue is that while moving from forward to reverse there is some spinning, which I attribute to the band on the drive wheel being old. CLICK To View Our Other Model Train Items!
