Description: Bagdad is located slightly west of Prescott and Sedona Arizona. A beautiful mountainous area with a lot of trees, deer, elk, antelope, and other big game for the hunters. While most of the mountains are under control of the US Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management makes some of the best maps for these areas.The maps are based on the 1:100,000 scale Topographic Maps by USGS and have all of the topographical features that the USGS maps have. But BLM also will show specific campgrounds, and the roads with a little more clarity. And they particularly show the Surface Management of the land. That is the map shows the State Trust Land, Forest Service Lands, BLM Lands, Native American Lands and Private Lands. by using specific colors:BLM are Yellow, Forest Service are GreenState Lands are BlueIndian Lands are Tan, Private Lands are White. And Military is usually Dark Blue or Red (Area 51 is nearby.) We found in our Retail Store that these maps are used by Hikers, Hunters, Off-Road Drivers, Horsemen and most other outdoors people.
