Description: This is another one of my several vintage Barbies with an amazing handmade Victorian crochet dress. She is wearing a bell shaped dress with fitted bodice, in a light rose with details in white and nude. She has a "boat" open neckline with small sleeves that "drop" over her shoulders in white. She has an elaborate and voluminous back, with bustle and the white (and very!) ruffled train decorated with pink roses appliques. This was probably an evening or party dress most likely, as it was the fashion in the last decades of the 1800's for evening wear. Barbie has an elaborate hair up do, with small roses as decorations. Absolutely amazing and adorable. In the bottom of her "stand" she is marked 2/93, which should be when she was "born" (put together with her new outfit as she stands now).
