Description: Antique porcelain lamp with floral rose design and detailed cast brass accents. This beautiful classic lamp has a great set of vintage brass sockets marked "LEVITRON 250w 250v Lamp Holder". The chains have the original brass acorn pulls seen on high quality lamps. The height of the sockets is adjustable with a small brass knob. There are two hairline cracks in the porcelain base that run downward from the round brass topper.(see photos) One is about 3" long and the other is 1 1/2" long. The lamp is very stable but it probably got these cracks when someone over-tightened the base to the sockets. This lamp is very beautiful and could be enjoyed as is. The sockets could be used on another high quality lamp project. The cloth cord is newer and in good condition. There is some electrical tape on it under the brass base but I think this is to keep it from moving around. It does not look like it has been spliced.(see photos) The lamp measures 28" high at the finial. The porcelain base itself is 14" high and 12" across at the two brass pieces. I am offering buyer paid shipping but if the buyer prefers I will arrange for free local pick up in Ortonville, Michigan.
