Description: Beautiful Wilier Triestina Columbus Thron Road bike Shimano 600 60cm Pantani Click images to enlarge Description Up for auction is an beautiful and good condition road bike from the Italian bicycle manufacturer Wilier Triestina. The bike frame is painted very much in the Marco Pantani version. Although the Pantani decor is slightly different, it is very similar in colors and design. The first saddle on this bike was also a Pantani edition, but the preowner replaced the Pantani saddle by the mounted Flite Gel Flow. This bike is in good to very good condition with regular signs of use and age. It is 2x8 speed. It is equipped with a complete Shimano 600 6400 groupset. There are of course no cracks or dents in the frame tubes. The steel tubes are Columbus Thron. The paint is very beautiful and original. There are hardly any chips in the paint, but you will find some smaller and fine scratches. The imperfections I want to mention: tiny traces of a chainsuck; there are a few paint chips near the rear derailleur (rear stay); there is a small paint chip on the underside of the top tube (probably caused by a pump). Please see the pics and judge yourself. There is no oxidation on the frame and the paint and decor are completely original. The decals are original and in excellent condition. The tires are clincher, a set of used but useable Schwalbe Stelvio. Everything works well, it shiftes and brakes well, but it could be improved after shipment and reassembling by putting some fresh grease and oil on the mechanical parts and do a little bit of brake and gear adjusting. The bike is generally very clean, it received a complete "soft restoration" - this means that it has been taken apart, cleaned and reassembled. The bike is equipped with Shimano 600 (6400 series) components. The headset is Shimano, but I cannot tell the exact series, the front derailleur is 7400 Dura Ace. The components are all in very good condition with minor wear. From Shimano 600 are: crankset, rear derailleur, bottom bracket, front and rear hub+skewer, the brakes, the braking/shifting levers. The front derailleur is a Shimano Dura Ace 7400. Components from other manufacturers are: The saddle (Selle Italia - Flite Gel Flow in very good condition), the handlebar and the stem (3T Podium) and the seatpost (Team Ritchey). The rims are for clincher tires, Rigida DP18 high-flange. The handlebar tape is new (Cinelli). The pedals are Look 247. Frame size: according to my measuring: 60cm tall (center - center), 62.5cm (center - upper edge seatpost tube); 58cm long (center - center). In some cases I will also take off the fork for additional safety of the bike. All this will be done well wrapped. Sometimes I ship in one parcel, sometimes in two. Please claculate with 1-2 hours for unwrapping and reassembling the bike and be aware that a small gearshift and brakes adjustment after reassembling the bike may be necessary.
