The firm became well known for the exceptional quality of its work, their clients included architects, designers, property owners and commercial companies. Bedford Lemere and Co. was founded in the late 1860s as a specialist architectural photographer. The archive of the company is the main source for architectural images in England from 1870 until after the Second World War. Offered is an original, vintage sepia photograph, circa 1880s-90s.
