Description: This 1977 German import stereo album from Deutsche Grammophon (2530 870) features performances of Beethoven's Klaviersonate Nr. 28 A-dur op. 101 (Piano Sonata No. 28 in A major, Op. 101) and Klaviersonate Nr. 32 c-moll op. 111 (Piano Sonata No. 32 in C minor, Op. 111), both performed on piano by Maurizio Pollini. Notes are included in a large (album-sized) 6-page tri-fold booklet in German, English and Italian. Oddly, the original German notes are not credited, but the English translation is by John Coombs and Italian translation by Paolo Pitazzi. The outer sleeve shows a very small bottom-edge cutout or nibble 2" from the lower left corner in front (see Photo 1) and a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
