It's just a top quality piece of old quarried material in a bout rustique format. If you love coticues, IDK of anyone who would be disappointed with this one unless you just like rectangular formats only. Size is as shown in the photograph diagram. Thickness is 19/32" at thickest point and varies to 1/8 at thinnest near one tip but even there it rapidly thickens to roughly 1/4 and continues to thicken. I flattened and chamfered this material ages ago. It seems more than flat enough for honing still. Feet on bout are made from what appears to be jeweler's wax. Thanks for looking.
