Fun fact: Bose & Shure were founded in 1964 & in 1966, Bose released their first product with 22 speakers in a single cabinet! Even though this system can clearly be used for any average size karaoke bar. We designed this to be completely WIRELESS for a home user that wants quality that will last for many years! Of course, also for karaoke host, small bands, small wedding dj's, that love the clarity of Bose. & the bigger sound that comes from a smaller system. This system is also geared toward those that value compact over larger systems. Very clean, clear vocals! So much so that if you are not a great singer, it might take a little adjusting because it does not hide your imperfections like other systems do. Trust me, I am a singer who will never be better than a backup vocalist and when I sang on the Bose L1 Pro 8, I found that it took a few minutes to adjust because I felt a bit uneasy over how clear the vocals were, exposing my weaknesses. I just had to build up a bit a confidence to get past that. (Wanted to share my personal experience so others could relate). We love the super clean vocals and beautiful tones that Bose are well known for. Could you get a cheaper system that may sound louder? YES! In fact, that leads us to a recent story. A customer in NJ wanted his system to get louder as long as it was not bad quality. So therefore he opted NOT to get the Bose for that reason. He did not care about how compact it was. So therefore he went with 2 powered 12 inch speakers that put out a louder presence. Now does that mean his choice was better? NO. It fit him, that's what it came down to. Now what is it about a Bose speaker like this that is instantly noticed by us during testing. Two speakers for the same price as 1 of these Bose speakers 80% of the time will clearly get louder, even have a little more flexibility if you were doing parties at different places. Yet what most people will not tell you is that your traditional speaker gets louder & harsher to the ear as you get closer. It also has a different dispersion of sound most often. The Bose L1 Pro 8 kept the most even dispersion of sound that you could imagine.We tested it in a really nice living room that was 16ft x 28ft, with 12ft ceilings. No matter where we walked in this room, the level of sound was virtually identical. Even when I stood 2ft on the side & stepped back 1ft, I could still hear it with no notable differences in sound. Another thing we noticed during playback on a tv was the older cowboy shows poorer film quality was picked up by the Bose L1 Pro 8. You could hear more hiss. Then when playing another movie. There was a scene where two guys were sitting in a car just idling. We asked each other, "you hear that?". Sure enough, we could hear the rumbling idle of the car in the movie whereas we did nothear it before just through the tv. OR one time we heard a plastic bag and thought the cat in the house was playing with a bag. Yet it was just the speaker picking it up on the movie.So even though it is not made for TV per say. It was bringing out certain background noise that was not noticeable otherwise. Sharing this with you so that you can see that one size does NOT fit all.TALK TO US! WE WILL CUSTOMIZE EVERYTHING TO FIT YOU, YOU, & YOU! WHY (2) TWO BOSE SPEAKERS WHEN ONE WILL ROCK THE LIVING ROOM? Cuz we're crazy! This is something all the like minded families with OCD understand! We LOVE LOVE LOVE symmetry. So gotta have one speaker on each side. Plus if you thought one filled the room, two of them sound amazing! COMPLETELY WIRELESS, LOT'S OF SETUP TO MAKE IT EASY TOO! Because we concentrated on this being a really nice system for home use, private parties. We made sure to keep it as simple as it gets. As long as you have a smart tv, just put your speakers together, plug in your wireless mics, turn on your karaoke iPad tablet system, connect via Bluetooth for music/audio. Then link the video to the tv. Open your karaoke app, access a huge professional LICENSED library. Not only can you control all the settings from back of Sub, you can also control them from the Ipad too as it will have a digital mixer app installed as well. The only thing we noticed that is common in apps like that is sometimes it might say not connected for a couple seconds. Yet it does not effect that sound. Just the ability to change settings for a moment. Once again, it's very important to note: One size does NOT fit all. Unless you are the foremost expert on systems, nothing will prepare you for truly understanding the right system until you spend time speaking to us. We always tell you what you need to hear, NOT what your typical salesperson will tell you just to get a sale. You can plug your mic receiver into the back of the speaker and then run the mics wirelessly. Connect your iPad music via Bluetooth. Connect your video wirelessly too from iPad to your Smart TV. We are not a computer store, so we pay RETAIL price to buy the iPad. We spend many hours setting up, customizing, testing. We purchased a 2yr. accidental warranty for it as well. Every karaoke tablet is made to order so we buy the latest one available to us. We set this up for you yet have no control over manufacturer warranty. We do this as a point of convenience. Believe it or not, we had to test a few different microphones with the Bose system because of it's clarity, it really does pick up imperfections that other speakers most often miss. We even tried the cheaper Shure PG58 mic, even though it was better than a couple others, it still was not good enough. The Shure sm58 series is the most famous microphone in the world. Is it the best? FAR FROM IT. It is just the most popular, most versatile for different vocal types. Plus Shure itself is world renowned for having rock solid product that last for years. I even personally own several vintage Shure mics! This is the Subwoofer/Mixer section of the Bose L1 Pro 8 Of course there is more to it, yet we made this poster so you could see the most important aspects of it. Now lets go back to what we mentioned earlier. If you did not care about how compact you need it, & prefer a bigger presence in sound. You could easily get louder system that is less compact. The Bose sub is known for a really nice Bass. It's a more beautiful tone, not like bigger subs that have more thump. So as long as you understand the difference, you will be happy. Now for customers that are more like my family here at Madproaudio. If you prefer having TWO Bose speakers for a symmetrical look. We are with you because it looks awesome. Is it need it? NO. Unless of course you were using this is a larger space. OR lets say you just want to have an even fuller sound in the house. You can be just as crazy as some of our customers and opt to get the Bose speaker with 16 speakers instead of 8. Hence why this is called the Bose L1 Pro8. PIRATES TAKE NOTE: YUP, WE HATE PIRATES! There is NO SUCH THING as a karaoke library with 10's of thousands of songs unless it literally cost THOUSANDS of dollars to own! STOP letting these other sellers fool you into thinking they can give you huge libraries. Ok, we realize most people are not aware of pricing. Yet lets use apple music, or even EVERY last karaoke download site as an example: Each song cost between $1.50-3.00 PER SONG! The library that comes with this system is a subscription! You pay about $10 a month to have access to over 40,000 LICENSED karaoke songs! You know what we can do that these pirates can't? We can put you in touch DIRECTLY with the music providers that sell it. The pirates can NEVER show you the real proof other than a bunch of BS excuses & mumbo jumbo. It's not that we can't compete. In fact, we can EASILY get you ANY legit licensed music pack for a fair price. What we CAN'T do is get you PIRATED music & we are tired of consumers purposely turning a blind eye to it. We work too hard to lose a sale over this BS. Sorry, can you tell this bothers us a lot. Do NOT let any seller fool you by putting a hook out saying 500, 1000 plus free songs. WOW, wish we had a 1,000 free songs to give out, NOPE! NOT even possible! Then after they get you on the hook with free music. They then start offering you more for "car salesman deals" Look at it this way. Even when the pirate charges you $2,000 for a big library. You know what the pirate paid? STILL NOTHING! You know how much an honorable seller would have to charge you for 10,000-50,000 songs? A lot more than 2k! That's for sure! & we can put you directly in touch with the music publishing firm, the CEO's of karaoke music. They will tell you the SAME thing! DON'T let anyone fool you no matter how many years they have been in business, whether they have a big pretty store, etc. In fact, some of the biggest so called retailers have been caught pirating! Even peddling FAKE Bose, FAKE Shure, etc. SIMPLE CHALLENGE IF YOU DON'T WANT PIRATED MUSIC: Just get the offer they gave you and ask for it in writing! (Do NOT tell us who it is) We will supply you with ALL the right questions to ask them and let's see how it goes. We are NOT afraid to lose a sale on a level playing field. Just sick n tired of losing sales to PIRATES! IF we sell you any music or turn you onto much cheaper solutions. You can bet 100% that you can personally contact the manufacturers that actually hold the LICENSES to the brands. Bet you a kabillion, jillion dollars that NONE of these pirates hiding behind so called legit stores can prove! & yes, we have heard it before some sellers saying that they pay for the music. If so, then they should give you DIRECT access to the music company that gave you that license to sell it. In the end, ~ Provide your shipping address so that we can figure out the cost to ship it to you.
