Description: Offered here is a 2001, long ago sold out, Bexley Limited Edition (172/188) Fountain Pen made for the Pen Collectors of America. Made in U.S.A. Bexley did an amazing job on the design and engineering of this pen. Its design is reminiscent of eye dropper filled pens of the early 1900's - like the cable twist of Parker or Waterman's. It can be filled either by eye dropper or cartridge converter - both in the box. The end of the barrel is threaded to match the cap - so, if you want to post the cap you can do so without damaging the cap or barrel - very clever - and practical. The Nib is an 18k solid gold two tone Fine. The yellow gold portion of the nib has patina acquired over the past twenty years - it can be easily polished with a cloth- but the contrast is interesting. The pen has not been inked and comes in its plush leather box with an outer cardboard box. Please review the photos carefully as they are an important part of the description. Thanks for looking! Please ask if you have any questions.
