Description: Thanks for visiting my listing. Up for auction, one unique Big Antique Brass Holy Medal featuring Mary and the Immaculate Conception. The piece is old and heavy, and has great surviving detail. I can’t find a country of origin marking, likely made in Italy. Comes with a nice hefty old brass chain, hook and eye clasp works great. A gorgeous old piece treasured for many decades, covered in handsome patina throughout. This piece is tough to date, the size of the medal is unusually large so I’d say 1950’s-60’s to be safe, however the design of the image on the Immaculate Conception medal looks older than medals from that era.
