Description: Extremely rare copy of The Billboard Magazine for June 29, 1940. Features industry news for music and entertainment such as night clubs, circuses, amusement parks, carnivals and more. There is a great full page ad for a female high diver named Bee Kyle. Great advertising and photos as well. There is also a classified ad for Tattooing Supplies placed by tattoo artist, Professor E.J. Miller. The supplies and collection is referenced as “Fifty Years’ Accumulation” and states that it belonged to “Late (deceased) Getchell” who is Elmer Getchell another tattoo artist. Getchell passed away in 1940. The same year this magazine was published and that ad was placed. A unique and unusual piece of tattoo history. This magazine is in good to very good condition. All pages complete and attached as are both covers. Minor wear consistent with age and handling. Inside pages are very clean. No writing. Pictures serve as additional description and provide accurate measurements. Please contact me with any questions. *This item will ship via USPS media mail with tracking*
