Description: BLUE GOOSE RECORDSOriginal Inner paper sleeve. NO RECORD. VERY RARE! Features R.Crumb, Son House, many early blues covers. Blue Goose Records was an independent American blues label, founded by Nick Perls in 1970. It was a sister label to his Yazoo Records (founded in 1968), and while on Yazoo, Pearls focused on making vintage blues available again, he started Blue Goose to release music by a variety of live performers that Perls recorded himself, often right in his New York West Village living room. Blue Goose stayed small as Perls operated his business mostly by himself, only occasionally employing assistants. The label was active throughout the 1970s with the last album release dating from 1980. You are bidding/purchasing on the item in the auction title. You will receive the exact sleeve as photoed.
