Description: FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE..... From the liquidation of a fine Portuguese estate on the Island of Madeira....... Pair of vintage ceramic Candle Holders made in Portugal by the famous Bordallo Pinheiro factory on Mainland Portugal. Glazed flowers in natural colors hold the candles, the base a cluster of green leaves. This is classic Bordallo, known for using vegetables, fruits and flowers as the inspiration for their decorative table wares. They stand 4 1/2 inches tall and measure approximately 5 inches across. These are vintage pieces, dating from the second half of the last century, this design no longer in production. Both candle holders have survived prior use free of chips, cracks or repairs.
