Description: This lot consists of two old Boston & Providence Railroad receipts, each dated 1845. The Boston & Providence Railroad operated in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The documents are about 10" by 8". They are dated July 1 and July 3, 1842. Each is signed at the bottom, one by a man named Reuben S. Wilson, the other by a man named Oliver Deane. See scans for more information. The documents are in good condition, with some creases and general wear. The document signed by Wilson has a 1" tear at the top.
