Description: Brass and Marble Brutalist Chess Set Greco Roman Design 14" Complete. I'll do my best to describe this piece, but I can't find much about it. I'm not an expert on this, so everything is my best estimate, not certainty. The closest comparison I could find was a 1960s Brutalist Chess Set. This set is definitely Brutalist, but I can't say a time frame. The pieces are brass or bronze, I'm not stating either of these definitively. All the pieces together weigh roughly 2 lbs 8 oz. The king is roughly 2.75"-3" tall. All the pieces are in good condition with no repairs. The board is marble, 14" x 14" in size. Roughly 12 lbs 11 oz. It's heavy and solid. There is a chip on 1 corner and a few scratches. I'd still say good condition, but not great. This is a very cool set. Wonderful decoration. If you know any more about it, I'd love any information to add to the description. Thank you!
