Description: Up for grabs is Cozzie (pronounced caw-zee), an extremely unique and one-of-a-kind Breyer horse! She is on the new mold version of Proud Arabian Mare (mold #215), which was sculpted by Chris Hess (from a design by Maureen Love) and introduced in 1959 (1971 for the new mold version; Cozzie's base model was this version). Cozzie could be considered a "drastic" custom, as she has had her head turned inwards and her mane and tail entirely resculpted to be bushy and windswept! Cozzie is a liver chestnut tovero pinto with "cat tracks" in her white markings. She has a dark chocolate-brown coat and detailed striped hooves, as well as "ermine spots" at the lower ends of her legs. I believe her brown eyes are tri-colored. She has pinking on her muzzle and belly/thighs. Her white markings have blue-tinted grey-ish mapping. Three of her hooves are even carved to realistically represent "frogs"! Sadly, I do not know who customized her since she is unsigned. There is also no way to know what year she was created; she almost looks like a vintage custom, but I cannot be sure. Whoever customized her, and whenever they did, did a very nice job in creating such an intriguing piece! I cannot say much as to Cozzie's condition, as she does have a somewhat "flawed" customization job (i.e. large amounts of yellow-cream paint over where it should be white, a textured/rough finish, streaks in the paint, etc). I would assume that she has not taken much damage since her customization, since I don't notice any breaks or major rubbing. There is possibly a small chipped/missing piece to her tail where it flips over her rump. If you want to make Cozzie a part of your collection, please don't hesitate to offer.
