Description: Hand Colored Bird Pink Rose & Floral Bone China Tea Bowl & Saucer C. 1830s Antique British bone china tea bowl and saucer. Nicely decorated with a pattern with a bird and flowers in the center. With floral garlands with large roses and a scrollwork and floral border. With hand colored highlights in pink, green, blue, orange and yellow. Circa 1830s to 1840s. The cup and saucer have overall crazing and light staining of the type that may soak out. The saucer has a 1 5/8" Y shaped crack in the center, a 1 3/4" tight crack extending off the edge with an associated small chip, a 1 1/4" hairline off the edge, and a flake to the foot rim. The cup measures approximately 3 1/2 inches wide x 2 1/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. JQ
