You are buying a very basic “garage” home kit from cast and printed resin parts. The boat resembles the Thornycraft River Motor GunBoat launches Mimi and Toutou as used on Lake Tanganyika in the First World War East Africa. Mimi along with the captured German gunboat renamed Fifi, is famous for their action on the lake when they engaged the German gunboat SMS Hedwig von Wissmann 9 February 1916, severely damaging her. Armed with a 3 pounder naval deck gun to the front and a vickers machine gun to the aft. Removable canopy with plenty of room to add additional miniatures.optional rear seats can be added instead of canopy. I have scaled it down slightly so that it can accommodate 25-28mm miniatures on 15-20mm stands and that it can be played on most good sized game tables. Some minor assembly required and would advise using super glue for parts. Kit comes as unpainted and no figures. Boat measures 200mm x 50mm. Badly painted and converted 28mm Miniatures are not included in the sale and are for scale purposes only, kit comes unpainted. Miniatures are from Wargames Foundry and Pulp Figures.
