Basically, samples are loaded into one half and then this half is covered with dialysis tubing. The other half is fastened on top of the dialysis tubing such that the tubing separates the two chambers. The device is then flipped such that the samples are now resting on the dialysis tubing. A tube is then connected to the bottom chamber so liquid flow may flush the underside of the dialysis tubing. It is an elegant system.
