This lithograph is from an off-set printer, printed from a plate, it is not from a printer or copy machine. The theory behind the "On One Field" collection is that you can hang a lithograph of Jackie Robinson next to a lithograph of Christy Mathewson playing against of each other. Except for the date in the bottom corner of the lithograph, there is no dating of this lithograph with stadiums or background images. This is what makes these lithographs so unique, a must have for a baseball historian. The medium Michael Mellett used was pencil, chalk and watercolor. Each lithograph is signed by Michael Mellett and includes the famous stacked "M" logo on the front. The stacked "M" on each of Michael Mellett is his trademark that are on almost all his artwork, it looks like 6 squares, but two M's.
